Quality controlled at every step.
From your CAD file to the finished part, quality is built into how we work – not inspected in at the end.
The whole job, under one roof.
Cutting, forming, welding and assembly all happen in our own Stockport workshop, with specialist finishing through trusted partners. Every hand-off between suppliers is a chance for a part to drift out of tolerance or pick up a defect. Keeping the core fabrication chain in-house removes those hand-offs, so what we cut is what we form, weld and deliver – with tolerance held from flat blank to finished part.
Built in, not bolted on.
Checked against your drawing
Parts are inspected before they leave, with the critical dimensions and tolerances you flag verified against your drawing.
Right first time
Careful programming and nesting, and tight control of the cut, form and weld chain, mean fewer defects and less rework for you.
Repeatable across a batch
Programmed setups and back-gauge positions are held, so the last part in a run matches the first.
Made to your specification
We work to the grade, thickness and finish you specify, in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Tell us what matters.
The more we know up front, the tighter we can hold it. Call out the critical dimensions and tolerances, the cosmetic faces, the finish and any standard the part must meet, and we will program and inspect to them from the start.

Critical dimensions, checked against your drawing.
Before parts leave the workshop, key features are measured against your specification, so what you receive matches what you designed, first time.
Tolerance is held from flat blank to finished part, with the whole job controlled under one roof in Stockport.
Discipline from the British Army
Our Operations Manager, Aaron, served twenty years in the British Army as a blacksmith and master welder before joining JEM. He runs the workshop with the discipline and structure of military service, so jobs are planned properly, done right the first time and delivered on time. He also brings a depth of hands-on welding and metalworking expertise you rarely find on a fabrication floor. We’re not formally ISO 9001 certified, but our quality is managed to the same principles, by people who take standards seriously.
